-The 21 st Century: Investing In Our Students - Dallas, TX 1995
The theme of the conference reflected the sobering reality that the problems of our students will not be solved in the remaining five years of the century, and that the national agenda will likely remain as apropos in the year 2000 as it was in 1990. The issues we are addressing our community colleges are complex, with multifaceted solutions. These solutions require long-term, future oriented investments in our students and in our staffs. There is one additional theme, technology and its impact on our institutions, our students, and our profession. The implications of the rapidly changing technological environment in our society are touched upon in some way by every contributor.

- Continuous Quality Improvement and Student Development - New Orleans , LA 1994
The 1994 Colloquium allowed participants to learn concepts and practices of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). The ultimate goal of the colloquium was to contribute to the improvement of student development practice through training student development leaders in quality improvement processes. Dr. Bumphus facilitated the colloquium meetings using CQI group facilitation methods. CQI is based on team work and team participation. The use CQI processes with the colloquium participants required training them in these processes. These techniques include (a) "keepers," (b) "issue bin" items, and "plus/delta" analysis.

- Student Development - Leadership for a New Century - Denver , CO 1993
The 1993 Leadership Colloquium focused on student development leadership for a new century. Sessions focused on defining the role of student development leaders in meeting institutional goals, enhancing diversity within the college, dealing with disability issues, establishing partnerships with instruction, and measuring student outcomes.

- From Vision to Reality - Student Affairs Agenda for the '90's - Myrtle Beach , 1991 - Chicago , IL , 1992
"From Vision to Reality: Agenda for the '90's "emerged as the theme of the first Interassociation Conference, reflecting the desired proactive stance as we attempt to serve students more effectively into the 21 st century. We applied their achievement as we recognized excellence in the field by giving out the first interassociation awards. To showcase these success stories the monograph contains brief descriptions of the winning programs and of the other nominated programs, each synopsis contains ideas that have been successful at particular colleges.

- Toward Master Leadership: Issues and Challenges for the 1990's - Hilton Head, SC , 1990
The format for this 1990 colloquium included presentations, panel discussions, and interactive opportunities to discuss various professional and leadership issues. The monograph addresses the Leadership Agenda developed by the Interassociation Council, comprised of representatives from NCSD, ACPA, NASPA, and the League for Innovation in the Community Colleges. The flavor of this monograph clearly reflects the views on leadership of seven community college presidents. The perspectives presented are offered as catalysts to encourage diverse dialogue, discussions, and action on the important issues and challenges for the 1990s.

- Toward Master Leadership: Strategies for Student Success - Columbia , MD - 1987
This monograph summarizes the small and large group discussions that focused on defining student success, identifying relevant issues, and providing recommendations for action. As a minimum, effective student success systems must include assessment, academic placement, advising, tracking and monitoring, and other effective intervention components. Creating student climates for promoting student success requires strong organizational leadership in the implementation of policies, programs, practices, and activities. We hope this publication will serve as a resource and catalyst for positive action to promote student success.

- Toward Master Leadership In Access. Assessment. and Developmental Education - Traverse City , MI , 1986
The purpose of this colloquium was to develop a position paper on access, assessment, and developmental education. This position paper will be helpful to community and junior college professionals in their quest to maintain and enhance excellence and opportunity. It also is intended to provide a direction for action on a common national agenda. It is hoped that this publication will be an important resource for community college leaders.
